Background and Research Interests
Jun earned his B.S. in Food Science from Michigan State University and worked at Neogen in Lansing, Michigan for 3 years. He earned his M.S. in Food Science from Oregon State University in December 2021. He joined the MSU Food science PhD program in January 2022 and is studying impact of fermentation and drying conditions on the inactivation of Salmonella, exploring how these processes influence pathogen survival and contribute to food safety.
