Background and Research Interests
Dimple earned her B.S. in Biotechnology from Panjab University and her M.S. in Biotechnology from West Virginia State University. She was a presidential fellow at Texas Tech University for one and a half years. She joined the lab of Teresa Bergholz in spring 2021 and working to see the impact of bacterial physiological state on its survival in both pre- (agricultural water) and post-harvest (cold storage) conditions, as well as its detection in post-harvest conditions.
