Michigan State University formerly produced a weekly blueberry newsletter for Michigan blueberry growers. This newsletter contained weekly reports of crop growth stages, current reports of insect and disease activity, horticultural information, and a list of meetings, new labels, etc. The newsletter was produced by small fruit education coordinator Paul Jenkins and contained the results of scouting for insects by Rufus Isaacs' lab and scouting for diseases by members of Annemiek Schilder's lab. Contributors to the newsletter included blueberry extension specialists Rufus Isaacs (Entomology), Annemiek Schilder (Pathology), Eric Hanson (Horticulture), Paul Jenkins (small fruit education coordinator), and MSU Extension educators Mark Longstroth (southwest Michigan) and Carlos Garcia (west central Michigan).
