URP Alumni
The SPDC Urban & Regional Planning alumni are among the best in their fields, all over the world. These MSU alumni are represented throughout Michigan’s regions, counties, cities, villages and townships and their planning departments. They work for developers, in nonprofits and state agencies, and everywhere in between. We are proud of their work, but it should be noted that we are biased.
What Can You do with an URP Degree?
Our graduates work in varied career paths ranging from community planning, economic development, transportation. social and environmental policy, real estate and finance, and advanced research and teaching. They work within the private, public and nonprofit sectors. Planners are needed in all walks of life. Here are snapshots of four alumni in the Greater Lansing Area.
