Private Applicator
A Private Applicator is someone uses or supervises the use of restricted-use pesticides for the purpose of producing an agricultural commodity on their own lands or their employer's land, or on land rented to them. Applicators must pass the private core exam.

Additional Standards for Private Applicators: If you apply pesticides aerially or for fumigation purposes, you must obtain the appropriate STANDARD. Order study materials listed below (in addition to the core manual) if you are performing aerial or fumigant applications of pesticides:
