Tor’s research interests include applied microeconomics and empirical policy analysis in food and agriculture. His research to date has focused on the measurement and consequences of infrequent, but impactful, tail events. He completed his PhD at the University of California, Davis, MSc at the University of Guelph, and BCom (finance) at the University of British Columbia.
