I am an empirical economist with a focus on environmental and agricultural economics. My research employs econometric tools to address policy-relevant questions that have long-term societal impacts.

I am pursuing a doctoral dual major in Agricultural Economics and Environmental Science and Policy Program from Michigan State University. My dissertation papers focus on water infrastructure, water affordability, nutrient runoff, and agro-environmental policies in the US. I have collected primary data through original survey design, as well as leveraged secondary data for use across my research projects. I have also worked in interdisciplinary teams where I have collaborated with Agronomists, Civil Engineers and colleagues from several other disciplines. Most of my works in progress are related to water, but I want to explore issues related to climate, forests, sustainability, environmental justice, behavioral interventions, and experiments in the future. Although my current projects are primarily U.S.-focused, I plan to engage in research on institutions and environmental outcomes in developing countries, particularly in South Asia.

I am interested in pursuing academic opportunities that aligns with my research interests. I am on the 2024-25 Job Market.
