Academic Interests

My research focuses on developing dietary strategies that utilize bioactive compounds, such as omega-3 fatty acids, to improve immune function and overall health in dairy cattle. My motivation lies in improving animal health to limit disease burden and supporting animal longevity to contribute to a more sustainable food system. In addition to my research, I enjoy mentoring undergraduates and participating in outreach events to teach the public about science and the dairy industry.
