Ovya Venkat is a recent Michigan State University graduate, having earned a double degree in Environmental Studies & Sustainability and Anthropology with a focus on community-based natural resource management. She has been a part of the Kravchenko Lab since November 2020. Her research interests include biodiversity conservation, environmental policy, community sustainability, and restoration ecology.
