Bio:

Nikhil Kulkarni is a senior in the School of Packaging, graduating in May 2018. In addition to being a part of Dr. Almenar’s research team, Nikhil has also completed a brief oncology research internship program at Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne in Switzerland in 2014, and a packaging co-op at Corning Life Sciences in 2017.

 

Research Focus: 

Nikhil is helping graduate student, Dylan Spruit, in conducting research involving food packaging in the E-Commerce environment. The team is working with many companies to investigate how to improve the most common failure modes of particular foods in order to enhance this experience of food buying.
