MSU Extension

Grace works under the EFNEP grant providing direct education to diverse populations across Wayne County. She works closely with parents, families and youth to instill healthy attitudes and habits around food. She uses her skills in Spanish language to reach Spanish speaking audiences in Wayne County. She has experience in and passion for school / community gardens and works closely with her SNAP-Ed colleagues to develop edible gardens for partner sites when possible.

 

Grace has always been passionate about cooking, community and health, which transfers seamlessly in her work and allows her authenticity to come through in her teaching. She earned a Bachelors in Science from Michigan State University in Sustainable Parks, Recreation and Tourism with 2 minors in Entrepreneurship and Innovation as well as Spanish language.
