Gary Libretti is a Michigan State University Extension Health and Nutrition specialist. He serves as the EFNEP Coordinator for MSU Extension, member of the Nutrition and Physical Activity leadership team, and is an EFNEP staff supervisor.

Gary is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition from the University of Florida, a Master of Science in Nutrition from Appalachian State University, and a Master of Public Health in Health Policy and Management from Loyola University Chicago. He has extensive experience working in wellness programming and previously served as a Public Policy Coordinator and Legislative Committee member for his state and local Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics organizations.

Gary is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the National Strength and Conditioning Association. In his free time, he enjoys coaching, training, and racing in endurance sports, developing his culinary skills, and working on his wildlife and nature photography portfolio.
