Academic Interest

My research focus and interest lies in muscle and adipose tissue growth, and its implications for meat production. Examining cellular response to external factors regarding, environment and nutrients, and their affects on growth performance, carcass traits, and meat composition. Aiming to help beef cattle producers optimize feeding strategies and manage environmental factors, leading to improved animal health, growth efficiency, and overall meat quality.
