Dorothy Chisusu
Dorothy is an agricultural economist holding MSc in Agricultural and Applied Economics from Lilongwe University and Natural Resources and the University of Pretoria. She also holds a BSc in Agricultural Economics from the University of Malawi. At PolSAT Dorothy assist in conducting research and policy analysis in areas of agriculture, natural resources management, and rural development. Prior to joining PolSAT, she worked with WorldFish (CGIAR), Alliance for African Partnership (AAP) a Michigan State University initiative, and Cooperazione Internationale (COOPI). These opportunities provided her with diverse experience in partnership building, agribusiness, and marketing, project management, research with a focus on inclusive business models, climate-smart agriculture, environment, poverty, nutrition, and gender. She also holds experience in implementing humanitarian programs aimed at building resilience and improving livelihoods.
