Biography
Dr. Morris serves as Associate Professor with a joint department appointment in Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering along with Electrical and Computer Engineering at Michigan State University. His expertise is in the area of 3D Computer Vision and Machine Learning with a focus on heterogeneous sensor fusion. His work includes accurate 3D detection and posture estimation of farm animals, crop phenotype estimation from aerial drone sensors, patient tremor analysis, and fusion of radar, lidar and camera data for autonomous vehicles.
3D Computer Vision, multi-frame target tracking and pose estimation, LIDAR and range sensing, object detection and categorization.
