Antomia Farrell, PhD
Dr. Antomia Farrell comes to CANR from the University of Kentucky, where she served as the Associate Dean for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for the College of Agriculture, Food and Environment. While in this role, she successfully led the development of a five-year plan focused on DEI and accessibility for the college, which included the Cooperative Extension Service, serving 120 counties.
Farrell reports directly to Dean Kelly Millenbah and oversees the CANR Office of Culture, Access and Belonging, directing the development and implementation of the college’s overarching DEI agenda.
Speaking on her new role, Farrell notes: “I am ecstatic to serve CANR as the Associate Dean and Director for Culture, Access & Belonging. My goal is to build community and access through an equitable lens while enhancing our DEI footprint locally and globally. I look forward to engaging with faculty, students, staff and stakeholders.”
Additionally, Farrell is an ex-officio member of the CANR DEI Committee.
