Dr. Garmyn is the faculty coordinator and coach for the MSU Meat Judging Team. Keep up with the MSU Meat Science program on Facebook. She also serves the faculty liaison for the MSU Meat Laboratory. Follow the Meat Lab on Facebook for current activities and meat sales. 

Research Interests

Garmyn's research focuses on beef and lamb eating quality and implementing strategies during animal production or post-mortem processing to improve eating quality and ensure positive consumer outcomes.
