Note: There is no resort fee. There is a $15 valet parking per night. Self parking is not allowed.

*The rooms set for the students are two queen rooms which the rate is based on double occupancy. There is a $10.00 per person upcharge for the third and fourth person occupying the room. These rooms will be booked at the higher rate and the student rate will be honored upon check in with valid student ID.

Park Place Hotel (within walking distance from the venue)

Park Place Hotel is within walking distance, and has agreed to provide a few rooms at $129.95 per room per person (resort fees, taxes, and other fees not included). This rate is not available for online booking. Please call 231-946-5000 and ask for reservations for the 2022 ISFRE meeting and give the reference code ISFR to get that rate. This rate will be valid for standard rooms, and we will continue to be available until they are sold out.

Cherry Capital Airport (TVC)

The nearest airport, Cherry Capital Airport (TVC) is 5 miles (15 minutes) away from the venue. TVC is served by American, Delta, United, and Allegiant airlines from major cities in the United States. Delta has a nonstop flight from Atlanta (ATL) to Traverse City (TVC).

Getting to the Hotel

The hotel does not have a shuttle service. Therefore, the best way to get to the hotel from the airport is to get a taxi or on-demand ride-hailing services such as UBER or Lyft.

Getting around Traverse City, MI

The hotel is in downtown Traverse City. Therefore, most restaurants, breweries, and other attractions are within walking distance of the hotel. In addition, there is BATA bus service, which serves the bay area. There are also taxi services and on-demand ride-hailing services such as UBER or Lyft.

COVID-19 UPDATE: Masks are no longer required in most indoor settings, except for classrooms, research spaces, health care facilities, and veterinary medical facilities. Effective May 16, MSU will drop its mask mandate for classrooms and research spaces as well. Please do not attend any programs, meetings, or events if you feel ill.
