Postdocs
If you are interested in a postdoc position in the lab, please send your CV, names of three references, and a 1-page research statement to yijiyoon@msu.edu. We welcome requests to collaborate on postdoctoral fellowship applications (e.g., NSF, USDA-NIFA).
Graduate Students
We are seeking highly motivated PhD or MS students in AI-enabled biosystems engineering. Topics of interest include rapid pathogen detection under stress adaptation, predictive modeling of soil microbiome data, and synthetic data generation for pathogens in agricultural environments. Those with a computational background are strongly encouraged to apply for the AIDMM-NRT program. Prospective students should contact yijiyoon@msu.edu with their CV and research interests before applying to MSU or AIDMM-NRT programs.
Undergraduate Students
Opportunities are available for students to work in the wet lab or dry lab during the current semester and potentially beyond, depending on interest and project needs. If interested, please contact yijiyoon@msu.edu, stating your interest, availability (e.g., "Mon/Wed 12-3 pm"), and relevant qualifications. Students are encouraged to apply for MSU research support programs using the links below.
