The ANR Event Services team provides all the tools and information necessary to create successful events, from ideas and guidance, to comprehensive event planning and management.
Services range from online registration through the Events Management System (created and designed in-house to serve the specific needs of educators) to full event planning for local, regional and international conferences and events. We understand the diverse needs of faculty, research scientists, staff and educators from the MSU Extension Institutes: Community, Food & Environment, Agriculture and Agribusiness, Children and Youth, and Health and Nutrition, and plan conferences and events to reflect the overarching mission of each.
By using ANR Event Services, you will be able to focus on your work as we take on the organization details associated with event planning. Simple event planning includes budgeting, establishing event dates, selecting and reserving the event site, coordinating transportation and parking, as well as handling participant registration. More complex planning includes full conference or event planning on campus or across the country. Some reoccurring events that ANR Event Services manages include ANR Week, Agriculture Innovations and Fall Extension Conference. Other large scale events we have produced include the Great Lakes Regional Dairy Conference, Master Gardener College, National Extension and Research Administration Officers Conference, and the Great Lakes Barley and Hops Conference.
With everything from an online registration system (for use by CANR, AgBioResearch and MSU Extension faculty and staff only) to downloadable templates, our goal is to provide you with the resources needed for planning an event that is seamless and successful.
