Keys to Embracing Aging is an interactive program that runs for 6 weeks and highlights 12 keys aimed at helping you to grow old gracefully, successfully, and with increased longevity. This is based primarily on findings from centenarian studies and Blue Zones research. Keys to Embracing Aging will influence attitude, nutrition, physical activity, brain health, social activity, technology, safety, medical literacy, stress management, financial security, sleep, and taking time for yourself.
Each week, we will discuss two of the following keys to optimal aging:
3/10 Week 1: Positive Attitude & Eating Smart and Healthy
3/17 Week 2: Physical Activity & Brain Activity
3/24 Week 3: Social Activity & Tuning-in to the times
3/31 Week 4: Safety & Know Your Health Numbers
4/07 - NO CLASS
4/14 Week 5: Stress Management & Financial Affairs
4/21 Week 6: Sleep & Taking Time for You
