June 1-3, 2025
Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center, East Lansing, MI 48824

The 2025 IPS is a continuation of 31 successful US and international symposia since 1989. The goal of the symposium is to bring together inverse problems researchers to exchange recent methods, ideas, and results.  Because inverse problems cover many individual majors with a plethora of applications, it is important to have regular sharing of recent developments.

Examples of the broad range of topics are:

  • Heat Transfer, Applied Mechanics, Controls, Other Engineering Disciplines
  • Chemical Reaction Kinetics
  • Material Properties Estimation
  • Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, and Medicine
  • Nondestructive Evaluation
  • Statistics
  • Mathematics
  • Physics
  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Machine Learning
  • Nanoengineering
  • Tomography and Inverse Scattering
  • Geology and Environmental Phenomena
  • Economics
  • Food and Bioprocessing
  • Bioengineering
  • Packaging
  • Acoustics
  • Optimal Experimental Design
  • Fluid Mechanics
  • Imaging
  • Novel inverse Methods
  • Computational inverse methods.

Papers are solicited from all areas involving inverse methods and their applications. Presentations of practical application are strongly encouraged. The meeting is organized in a single-session format to intentionally foster cross-disciplinary interaction. We hope to bring together researchers from across the world to discuss inverse problem applications, theoretical aspects, and technical findings.

We welcome you to join us!
