Potential Buyers
Consider supporting Michigan 4-H members through 4-H virtual auction opportunities this summer.
Many youth across the state have worked throughout the past year on their 4-H projects and with the return of face-to-face activities, many fairs are being hosted in-person. Contact your local MSU Extension office for information about bidding on 4-H projects or other ways you can support the 4-H youth program.
Ways you can help:
PARTICIPATE in a 4-H auction.
Purchase locally-sourced meat, crafts or other auction items from 4-H youth to support their 4-H experience and continued learning and development. Learn more on the Virtual Auction FAQ, Potential Buyer FAQ and other resources below.
DONATE to a local food bank.
Instead of purchasing the meat for your consumption, consider donating the protein to a local food bank to support people in need in your community. Participation in the 4-H virtual auction food bank donation program varies by community. Learn more on the Virtual Auction FAQ, Potential Buyer FAQ and other resources below.
Help us reach our $50,000 goal to support youth. Youth participating in the 4-H Virtual Learning Showcase & Auctions will have the opportunity to apply for scholarships to pursue post-secondary education.
