Description
A standard operating procedure (SOP) is a set of step-by-step instructions to help carry out daily functions. SOPs can help keep a learning environment safe. In the classroom, a SOP might look like a lock-out tag-out procedure or the quarantine of new or sick animals. Students should be familiar with SOPs and be able to follow them to avoid hazardous situations.
