Sevval is a Ph.D. student from Turkey studying food and agricultural economics. She has a B.S. in Economics. She earned her M.S. degree in Agricultural, Food, and Resource Economics at the Michigan State University. Her M.S. thesis focused on a food safety related recall and its implications. She is interested in food choice behavior of consumers and experimental methods in economics.
