Rhonda Crackel
Rhonda Crackel is the director of Education Abroad for the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources (CANR) within the Office of Academic and Student Affairs. In this role, Crackel has administrative oversight of all education abroad programs within the college working with departments, faculty and students to foster education aboard opportunities through the CANR.
Additionally, she coordinates summer study programs for incoming students from Konya Food and Agriculture University (Turkey), Meiji University (Japan) and Tokyo University of Agriculture.
Crackel also supports the Office of Academic and Student Affairs at events such as Fall Welcome for students, AutumnFest for alumni and Green and White Days for prospective students.
Previously, Crackel had a dual role as a faculty member in the Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition teaching the "Principles of Food Science and Food Laws and Regulations" courses. She also served as co-leader of the "International Food Laws" study abroad program for 23 years.
Crackel has her bachelor’s and master’ degrees in Food Science both from Michigan State University.
