Rachel Butzin
Rachel Mae Butzin is an Extension Tribal Health educator at Michigan State University, with a strong community relations, social justice, and education background. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies in Social Science (Community Relations) with a Cognate in Sociology from Michigan State University and specializations in Native American Studies, Latino/Chicano Studies, and Environmental Justice. Rachel also earned a Graduate Teaching Certificate from the University of South Dakota while she served as the Director of Artists in Residence for St. Joseph’s Indian School. She is pursuing her Master’s in Social Work at Michigan State University. Her diverse educational background informs her work in community engagement and educational outreach.
