Mary Gilbert is a Community Nutrition Instructor with MSU Extension serving Sanilac and Huron Counties. As a Community Nutrition Instructor Mary partners with community agencies to provide classes in the areas of Nutrition, Health, and Physical Activity. These classes are offered to adults and youth in both series settings and one-time presentations.

Mary also offers policy, system and environmental (PSE) coaching within community sites to identify and remove barriers. Since Mary joined Michigan State University Extension in 2023, she has worked closely with community partners to increase food access specifically farm to table.

Michigan State University Extension is the lead agency for Senior Project Fresh in Sanilac County and Mary is the liaison for distributions and education.
