Background:

Maren Case is the Communications Manager for Conservation Frontlines, where she writes and creates content for the non-profit’s social media outlets. Maren obtained her BA in Arts and Humanities with a concentration in Language and Culture from Michigan State University, where she currently works jointly with the University’s Department of Fisheries and Wildlife.

Having spent nearly all her summers in the woods and waters of northern Michigan, and having a passion for the world’s cultures, she values the opportunity to write about the ways in which these two spheres of human existence both interact and rely on each other. Outside of her communications work, she enjoys time spent reading, sailing and crocheting.
