Marc Friedman
B.S. in Marine Biology from the University of Miami
Marc Friedman is a graduate student at Michigan State University, specializing in soil microbiomes and truffle cultivation. His work aims to understand the interaction between microbial communities and plants, in metal contaminated environments. His research also includes truffle cultivation experiments that investigate how pH effects the in vitro growth of mycelium, the effects of potting media on tree root colonization by truffle producing fungi, and truffle orchard establishment.
