MSU Extension

Katie Parr is a Michigan State University Extension program instructor focused on child and family development. Her primary office location is in Cheboygan County, and she provides programming in Alpena, Charlevoix, Cheboygan, Emmet, Montmorency, Otsego and Presque Isle counties.

In this role, Katie trains virtually and in-person on topics for early childhood educators, caregivers, and parents, including topics on preparing children for school success in early childhood and social and emotional health in children. She also provides family education and support through in-person and statewide virtual parenting trainings and collaborative parent-child learning experiences.
