Background:
Jean Adams is a statistician with the U.S. Geological Survey - Great Lakes Science Center and the Great Lakes Fishery Commission, both in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She started her career as a biologist with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, before earning a master’s degree in statistics from the University of Wisconsin. She spent two years teaching math and science at a rural high school with the Peace Corps in Papua New Guinea. She's excited to be back in school pursuing a PhD with a focus on lake trout and sea lamprey in the Great Lakes.
