Academic Interest

My research is primarily focused on equine joint health, both how it may be affected by training protocol as well as pharmaceutical or nutraceutical intervention. Though my work is focused on horses, I regularly use an ovine model. Beyond my research, I'm often involved in teaching, assisting with courses such as Introductory Horse Management (ANS 242), Advanced Horse Management (ANS 442), and Equine Exercise Physiology (ANS 445).
