Liz Antvelink
Liz Antvelink serves as the MSU Extension 4-H Program Coordinator for Isabella County, a position she has held since October 2024.
In her capacity as a 4-H Program Coordinator, Liz provides strategic leadership and management for local 4-H programs, overseeing volunteers and youth participants in Isabella County. She is dedicated to enhancing the 4-H program by developing initiatives, fostering partnerships, promoting and evaluating programs, and recruiting and training volunteers. Additionally, Liz acts as a liaison with the Michigan 4-H state office, ensuring that local participants are informed about statewide opportunities and resources.
Liz's involvement with the Isabella County 4-H program began in her childhood, and she has continued to contribute her time and effort as a volunteer. She has participated in various exhibits at the Isabella County Fair, where she showcased her skills in showing horses, chickens, and dairy feeders, as well as in arts and crafts. Her commitment to community service is evident through her roles as a camp counselor, participant in the Master Gardener Program, supporter of the PEP Program, and volunteer for camp cleanup and the Horse State Show.
After graduating from Sacred Heart Academy in 2013, Liz furthered her education by playing softball for two years at Kellogg Community College and continuing at Cornerstone University. In 2018, she earned a bachelor's degree in business administration.
Liz is enthusiastic about leading the Isabella County 4-H program while collaborating with dedicated volunteers. She attributes her personal and professional development to the 4-H program and is committed to instilling similar values and opportunities for growth in the youth of Isabella County.
