Background:
Dan Li is from Northeast China and has joined the program for her Ph.D. project researching the human–wolf interactions in the Western Great Lakes Region. Before working on conservation of the Amur (Siberian) tiger and leopard, she completed her postgraduate diploma in wildlife conservation, Master’s degree in Genetics, Bachelor’s degree in Biology at Northeast Forestry University. Her research interest is exploring avenues to human–wildlife coexistence through the integration of ecological and social sciences.
