Alexis Wheeler is the 4-H Program Coordinator for Shiawassee County, where she is dedicated to supporting and growing the county’s 4-H programs. She oversees 4-H clubs, youth participants, and volunteers, working to foster positive youth development and create meaningful opportunities for young people in the community.

A 2024 graduate of Michigan State University, Alexis earned a bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness Management. Her passion for agriculture and dedication to youth development were shaped by her own experiences growing up in 4-H in her home county.

During her college years, Alexis interned with MSU Extension, where she was part of the 4-H Exploration Days team and played a key role in organizing and supporting the event for two years. This experience deepened her commitment to 4-H and equipped her with valuable skills in program management and event coordination.

Today, Alexis brings her enthusiasm for agriculture and youth engagement to Shiawassee County, ensuring that 4-H continues to provide opportunities for leadership, learning, and community involvement.
