Position Summary 

The Interior Design program at the School of Planning, Design & Construction (SPDC) at Michigan State University (MSU) invites applications for an Assistant Instructor/Instructor to teach IDES 150 and IDES 152 in Fall 2024. This is a part-time position. The full-time equivalent percentage may vary depending on the candidates’ experience, education and the number of credits.

Required Degree 

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, or related field for Assistant Instructor rank or a Master’s degree in Interior Design, or related field for Instructor rank, required.

 

Minimum Requirements 

Applicants are required to have a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, or related field. Minimum 2-year professional experience is required.

 

Desired Qualifications 

Teaching experience in Interior Design courses is preferred.
