Katelyn King, a doctoral candidate in the Data Intensive Limnology Lab, recently won the Exceptional Promise in Graduate Research Award from the Ecological Society of America.
This award is granted to scientists in recognition of an outstanding paper resulting from research done as a graduate student. Katelyn was selected for her 2019 paper, "Drivers and spatial structure of abiotic and biotic properties of lakes, wetlands, and streams at the national scale," which was published in Ecological Applications and co-authored by Kendra Cheruvelil and Amina Pollard.
