MSU CRFS Seeks a Farm to Youth Network Coordinator
We're hiring! The Michigan State University Center for Regional Food Systems (CRFS) is seeking a farm to youth network coordinator to support the Michigan Farm to Institution team.
The Michigan State University Center for Regional Food Systems (CRFS) is hiring a Farm to Youth Network Coordinator. This role will work with the Michigan Farm to Institution Network team in their efforts to strengthen the Michigan food system. The successful candidate will collaborate with statewide stakeholders virtually and in-person to develop and grow partnerships in farm to early care and education (Farm to ECE), farm to school (K-12), and farm to institution spaces.
As part of this work, they will develop and coordinate content for social media, email, and website, including knowledge products. Additionally, the coordinator will attend, represent, and/or coordinate relevant stakeholder meetings and events.
They will actively engage in outreach, as the coordinator will provide pre- and post- award support to Michigan grantees to the Lake Michigan School Food System Innovation Hub grantees. They will also coordinate meetings, events, and reports with grantees, as well as support with required grant reporting.
The coordinator will participate in staff and strategic meeting as an active member of the CRFS team, as well as provide internal communication about activities. CRFS recognizes that racism in the food system is historic, ongoing, and systemic. As we collaborate with partners to advance food systems rooted in local regions and centered on food that is healthy, green, fair, and affordable, we emphasize racial equity as a foundation of our work.

Salary: $58,000- $62,000. Salary Commensurate with experience, plus MSU’s benefit package.
