The Michigan 4-H Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that supports the mission and vision of Michigan State University (MSU) Extension 4-H Youth Development. The foundation receives donations from individuals and organizations to support 4-H youth development activities and to train Michigan 4-H’s adult and older teen volunteers.

Michigan 4-H Foundation trustees are volunteers who serve as community advocates for 4-H and lead and manage the operation of the Michigan 4-H Foundation. Three positions on the 21-member board are reserved for trustees between the ages of 16 and 22. These youth trustees, all 4-H members, provide a youth voice to the board and help it to keep to the 4-H mission.

Becker has been a Gratiot County 4-H member since 2011. She has served as president of the Circle B 4-H Club and the Gratiot County 4-H Exchange Club, as well as teen representative on the Gratiot County 4-H Leaders Council. Through her 4-H experiences, Becker has taken on a variety of leadership roles, organizing showmanship clinics for her peers, directing a science fair during the Gratiot County Youth Fair and serving as a 2021 Michigan delegate to the National 4-H Congress in Atlanta. Becker has been honored numerous times for her 4-H achievements.

Becker is a 2023 graduate of Breckenridge High School where she was a member of the Student Council and served as class treasurer and spirit leader. She was also active in the Breckenridge FFA Chapter, receiving numerous FFA awards and earning her State Degree in 2022-2023. Currently, Becker is a freshman at MSU studying animal science with a minor in agri-business management. She was a charter member of the MSU 4-H Collegiate 4-H Club and an active member of the Block and Bridle Club and the Sigma Alpha Sorority.
