Field crops soil fertility and nutrient management training March 20 in Clinton County

This event offers a deeper dive into soil fertility and nutrient management. Five nutrient management CCA credits are available.

Michigan State University Extension will host a field crops Soil Fertility and Nutrient Management Training on Thursday, March 20 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Clinton County Smith Hall, 819 W Park St, St Johns, MI 48879, or online via Zoom. Last year, the first Soil Fertility and Nutrient Management Training kicked off with the basics. This second training will go more in-depth on soil fertility and nutrient management. Anyone who has a solid grasp of soil fertility and nutrients is welcome to attend, whether they attended last year’s training or not.

The cost is $50 per person, which includes lunch for in-person attendees and materials. Five certified crop adviser (CCA) continuing education units for nutrient management have been approved.
