CSUS Announces New Endowed Award for PhD Students
New endowment will fund a graduate teaching assistantship in the department.
The Department of Community Sustainability (CSUS) announces a new endowed award for PhD students. The Malcolm and Ann Kerr Award for Excellence in Scholarship will provide a one-semester assistantship each year to a highly qualified CSUS PhD student who aspires to an academic career. This award is intended to provide an opportunity for students to gain university teaching experience, so that they may become more competitive for faculty positions after graduation.
