Jus Green Lawn & Pest Control Position Title: Turf Technician

Location: Manistee, Michigan (Manistee/Mason County)

Duration: Full-Time, Part-Time, Seasonal

Salary or Salary Range: $30,000 - $40,000 a year.

We service as far south as Spring Lake, Mi- as far North as Frankfort, Mi. Main counties include Manistee and Mason
Full service lawn and pest control
15 employees.
1,500 customers.

The main objective of the position is to safely and effectively apply granular fertilizer and liquid herbicide to commercial / residential lawns.
Other objectives are to consult customers on options and ways to strengthen their lawns in aesthetic and health.

Need to enjoy working alone and outside. Will either be working alone or with 1 other co worker for training.
Need to be responsible, truthful, and honest. Position includes working with commercial grade pesticides Need to know how to keep accurate records.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong commitment to excellence and attention to detail.
Ability to develop strong and meaningful relationships with co-workers, clients, and industry partners.
Must be certified in the State of Michigan for common core commercial applicator license and 3A turf managment. Jus Green will provide study material along with payment of tests in order to achieve certification.
Recommended but not required - knowledge of common weeds, grass type, soil type, commercial chemicals, and preventions.
Must have a valid drivers license.
Recommended but not required - a passion for healthy and beautiful turf.
