Job Type: Seasonal: End of April – Mid-June
Hours: Weekend availability required
Job Description:
We are seeking friendly and reliable seasonal cashiers to join our
team at Willow Greenhouse of Northville. This position is perfect for
individuals who enjoy working with customers, are comfortable with
technology and have a strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate the point of sale (POS) system to process customer
transactions accurately and efficiently.
Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their
purchases, offering product recommendations, and answering general
inquiries.
Maintain a clean and organized register area.
Assist with product stocking, inventory management, and general store
maintenance as needed.
Perform physical tasks including standing for long periods, repetitive
lifting, and working in varying weather conditions.
Qualifications:
Previous point of sale (POS) experience is required.
Must be available to work weekends (Saturdays and Sundays).
Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, seasonal environment.
Must be detail-oriented, reliable, and a team player.
Passion for gardening and plants is a plus, but not required.
Ability to lift up to 30lbs.
Schedule:
This is a seasonal position, beginning at the end of April and ending
mid-June.
Weekend availability is a must (Saturdays and Sundays).
