Job Description: The landscape foreman, under supervision of the golf course superintendent or assistant, manages and maintains all ornamental landscaping for the golf course and clubhouse as well as helps with routine maintenance of the golf course.

Responsibilities:

Design, plant, and maintain annual, biennial, and perennial beds
Daily routine checks of annual flowers for irrigation needs, fertilizer/pesticide requirements, and soil conditioners
Take corrective action as needed to ensure all plantings remain healthy throughout the season
Trim and prune hedges and shrubbery
Applies pesticides and fertilizers to ornamental plantings
Instructs crew members on plant installation details and routine maintenance of all ornamentals
Daily routine mowing of clubhouse lawn

Job Requirements:

Associate degree, currently enrolled in a horticulture program, or extensive experience in horticulture.
Current state pesticide applicator license or ability to acquire.
Excellent organizational ability.
Ability to speak Spanish a plus.
