Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Lawn Care Technician to join our team. The ideal
candidate will have experience in lawn care, including pesticide application, fertilization, and general lawn
maintenance. This is a year-round position with opportunities for growth and development within our
company. You will be responsible for maintaining the health and appearance of our clients’ lawns and
outdoor spaces through regular lawn care services and proper pesticide/fertilizer applications.
Key Responsibilities:
● Diagnose and treat lawn care issues such as weeds, pests, and diseases.
● Mix and apply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers according to safety guidelines and industry
standards.
● Assist the mowing crews with mowing, edging, and leaf clean up as needed.
● Ensure proper maintenance of fertilization equipment.
● Collaborate with the landscape team to execute lawn care and landscape projects efficiently.
● Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients and addressing concerns.
● Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while on-site.
● Perform seasonal duties as necessary, including snow plowing in the winter months.
Qualifications:
● Must have the following commercial pesticide application licenses: 3A, 3B, 6, 7A, and 7F.
● Minimum of 2 years of lawn care or related field experience.
● Strong knowledge of lawn care, pest control, and fertilization practices.
● Ability to diagnose and treat lawn issues effectively and efficiently.
● Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, with physical tasks that may require heavy
lifting.
● Valid Michigan Driver’s License and Chauffeur's License are required. Must have a clean driving
record. Reliable transportation to/from work.
● English required. Spanish is beneficial but not required.
Preferred Skills:
● Snow plow experience is preferred.
