It is that time of the year, when clocks turn forward and days  become longer. Day light savings can disrupt sleep patterns and have negative health effects. The time change and misalign our body's natural rhythms. This workshop is an overview of SLEEP 6-week series, which aims to provide tips to improve quality and quantity of sleep.

Sleep Basics Objectives:

  1. Understand the importance of sleep for both physical and mental health.
  2. Recognize the importance of sleep hygiene.
  3. Identify strategies to improve sleep.
  4. Learn how to participate in Sleep Education for Everyone Series

This is a free class.  To register for this class, go online at register.shelbytwp.org or call at (586) 731-0300 or (586)323-2478. Registration for the event is open and closes on 10/07/2023. Registration is highly encouraged due to limited seating and ease of hand out printing.
