Michigan Youth Livestock Judging Camp

June 11-12, 2025

This overnight camp experience is for youth ages 12-19 (as of January 1, 2025) who are interested in taking a deep dive into livestock judging and sharpening their judging skills!

Co-hosted by Michigan 4-H and the MSU Collegiate Livestock Judging Team, this camp will take place on the campus of Michigan State University on June 11 & 12. Activities will include reasons training from current MSU team members, numerous practice classes, one-on-one coaching in swine, small ruminants, and cattle, and a mock contest.

During the mock contest on Thursday, coaches of county 4-H and FFA teams are welcome to join us for a coaches training session. Space is limited, and pre-registration is required.
