This session will teach youth (ages 10-19) in the market livestock project area essential marketing skills to successfully promote and sell their animals. Participants will explore key marketing tools such as social media, print advertising, and networking while learning how to apply the 5 P’s of Marketing (Product, Price, Place, Promotion, and People) to livestock sales. They will also identify their target market and develop strategies to attract the right buyers. The session will cover both verbal and non-verbal communication techniques, helping participants craft compelling sales pitches and use confident body language at auctions and private sales. Whether preparing for a local fair or live auction, youth will gain valuable skills to enhance their marketing success.
