This training introduces new and/or current dotCMS users to the basics of dotCMS, CANR's website content management system. This training also serves as the prerequisite course that all new dotCMS users must complete before participating in any of the individual Content Type training sessions or the Create/Edit a Page/Page Asset training. Participants will learn the dotCMS interface, navigation, and basics of website content management, including the creation/editing of web pages and various content types. (Approx. 2 hours)
Preliminary dotCMS training modules on D2L must be completed at least 24 hours prior to participating in the Zoom training session. Registrants will receive an email for the D2L modules after registration is submitted for this training. Upon completion of the two modules in D2L, registrants will then receive a link for the main training session to be held on Zoom.
This training topic is offered twice a month via Zoom; one as a morning session, and another as an afternoon session.
